  Gians, one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Abbotsford discriminates against their own! My elderly parents went in for the lunch buffet last week and found a hair in their naan (stuck inside, not on top). After they quietly brought it to the attention of the hostess, they were approached by the owners and were accused of "ruining the restaurant for their other customers" (rough translation from Punjabi). I doubt they would have been treated that way if they were Caucasian. Discrimination against elderly Punjabi speaking folks by a punjabi run family is apauling but something tells me it's happened before!!

  Service is pretty good. They handled our party of six well on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great and they were consistently serving up fresh batches. Would go back if it was closer to Vancouver

  I wish I could give them zero stars.
  The environment was dreary. The music was terrible. The food was watery and luke warm. The chilli pepper served with the food hadn't fully thawed when I bit into it. The vegetarian dishes seemed like they were taken out of the freezer and put into a pan for 5 minutes and served to us. On the plus side, the servers were great.
  In conclusion, I would recommend going to any of the many Indian places around Abbotsford. Don't waste your time and money.
