  Zaika - Amazing food! I really enjoyed the mouthwatering dishes. The food was full of "Zaika". But the service was awful.
  As I am from Calgary it was my first visit & I really enjoyed the food.

  Restaurant atmosphere is good but that's all it is. Food is seriously mediocre. We asked for medium spicy food but got something extremely mild. The glass for soft drink is the same size as the water glass (pretty small), and they charge for re-fills. The service was also very poor. We had no one ask us if we wanted a re-fill on our food or would like to order more food. Our food was also taken before we could completely finish without confirming. Overall it's all show, service is poor, food is pretty bad the prices don't justify the quantity or quality you get.

  Tucked away, but right near down town, it's easy to miss Zaika. As a big fan of butter chicken, I normally go for Mr. India or Gian's. Both good choices, but recently tried Zaika for the first time and their chicken was cooked to perfection. Juicy and full of flavour. I like it spicy and they didn't disappoint. It's a beautiful design inside as well - probably my favourite of all Indian food restaurants. Definitely worth checking out.

  I have travelled to India and stay there for several months, and my wife and I eat Indian food both out and at home at least a couple times a week. I also used to be a chef, and have always been fascinated with Indian Food. There are only a handful of places that I trust when it comes to the best quality and flavor. We recently just moved out to Abbotsford and decided to make this our first choice Based on what was close to us. The food is absolutely immaculate, the service is incredible and we will be coming back again and again... I highly recommend the goat in any style... it's a meat it's very hard to get right, and they cook it to perfection every time!
